My introduction to affiliate marketing has been through the system of cash that Google is sold through Clickbank. I could actually make money using Google Adwords only at the time. From here you can buy effective keywords for what was then Google's minimum bid to .05 (five cents). Remember that payment of $ 1,000.00 per day for clicks at 05 a piece and double my money. Others have done much better, I'm sure.
The man had changed repeatedly, and not for the better. Perhaps there should be a person smarter than me to understand, but the bidding for Google AdWords has become more complicated, illogical and simply selfish.
Why can find a word without competing ads for using keywords in my title of the auction and advertising Google's not even start showing ads until I reached $ 1.00, $ 5.00 or more? It makes no sense to me what-so-ever.
Talks to Google the offer price is determined by competition and other factors relavency, but they are so vaguely described that one can only imagine what Google does.
I do not see how I continue to use Adwords and make money at the same time. At .05 or .10 per click, I can make money. With AdWords, offers the way they are today, margins are so thin, or completely devoured by the cost of click is not possible to make a profit.
Since Google is willing to do almost impossible for me to make money, I decided to do my business other PPC providers
So, to return the title of the article: "Is it still viable CFC Affiliate Marketing Strategy? ". I think yes, but not with the same ease of use that is used with the old Google.
This leaves two main children to work and show signs of improvement. Both variants are Yahoo (Overture) and adCenter (MSN).
First, let me say that you can not get more clicks PPC with these vendors, since they are not as large as Google. But I think through the yen / Changing Yang, Google will lose business and these two PPC engines will win.
MSN adCenter: I tried it with this engine Pay Per Click for some time and is good. The user interface is simple and gives very good estimates of where your ad will appear (position) and frequency with that you click on the basis of prices of different offers. We always knew that the impression of Google / Forecast CLIC was garbage. This actually causes prices offer easy assembly for MSN. In my early years, it took more than 24 hours to begin playing. I do not know if this will improve with time, but it is a kind of pain now. In addition, adCenter only works in Internet Explorer as ActiveX code to run on your system. This makes it likely go faster, but is a pain for me because I use Firefox.
Yahoo / Overture: Overture I used one about a year ago and just found it too difficult to work. It was slow, by adding the words was difficult and took forever to trigger ads. The good news is that Yahoo is the review of Overture and I bet they learned from the success of Google. The opening of new would be much better. I do not know if it's a beta version is working or not, but would be pleased to receive the coup.
So I'll turn off all Google Adwords campaigns and work with Overture and MSN AdCenter for a while to see what happens. I think PPC is always a good strategy. It made sense! (hundred?) But this only works for us so we can assess exactly how we pay for traffic and we test campaigns quickly. 24 hours Delays in testing, it is very difficult to work.
